DREW SMITH

As a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Drew has been inspired since early childhood by the beauty of the surrounding scenery of the Intermountain Region. Drew began painting at an early age honing his skills in art classes throughout middle and high school.  Drew attended Ricks College, now BYU Idaho, and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Utah State University.  While attending college, he was named runner-up in the Utah Duck Stamp Competition.  He has also been recognized in Southwest Art Magazine as an “Artist to Watch”.

Drew has participated in the Montana Land Reliance sponsored show “Artists for Open Spaces,” the Treasure State art show, and the CM Russell show and auction.  He has also participated as a quick draw artist at the Jackson Hole Falls Arts Festival and the CM Russell Show Quick Draw.
